Trustees Elected to Kulshan CLT Board
Kulshan Community Land Trust marked a significant milestone yesterday. The non-profit corporation held its third Annual Meeting and Dessert Night, celebrating the first six homes acquired by first time homebuyers in Whatcom County using the community land trust approach. Under the sound leadership of its Board of Trustees, Kulshan CLT continues to help households of limited means realize the dream of affordable homeownership.
At the meeting six Trustees were elected to Kulshan CLT's board:
- Sharon Robinson - Architect, Zervas Group Architects
- William Sterling - Founding member of Kulshan CLT & General Contractor
- Jen Young - Court Clerk & Singer/Songwriter
- Margaret Lyons - Homemaker & Mother of two
- Andy Wickstrand - Development Director at RE Sources
- Karen Frolich - Retired Banker & Entrepreneur
Along with a growing inventory of permanently affordable housing, Kulshan CLT offers HomeBuyer Education and Home Improvement Workshops.
