 think everyone is looking for their own place to
call home, a corner of a world that accepts you and
loves you - but also a place to make your own, a place
to make memories, to remember the past, and reinvent
your own future. This image is the perfect little red
house, almost a storybook house in perfect weather, a
place we might see in our dreams.
This artwork is the first of a continuing series in
which I explore the themes of home and what home means
to us and how the idea of home changes throughout our

Artist Biography
Caitlin Dundon has been interested in art and lettering
since she was a small child - spending many years
developing her own calligraphic style through the
practice of letter writing. After earning a Bachelor of
Fine Arts degree in graphic design from Syracuse
University in 1989, Dundon moved from Rochester, New
York to the Puget Sound area where she currently resides.
